Job Responsibilities:
IBM Storage Product Engineer (PE) is the highest level support to all storage customers.
Provide Level-3 technical support to IBM storage customers in Asia Pacific;
Work with IBM worldwide storage development team on product enhancement;
Investigate technical issues through log/dump analysis and provide resolutions to IBM in-country support team;
Work with the Client Care team to improve customer satisfaction by visiting key customers and onsite support;
Create procedures and tips for the Level-1 support team to resolve storage problems;
Develop and provide technical training and service strategies to Level-1/2 support team.
Job Requirements:
Computer Science or Computer Engineering major;
Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills, especially on storage product;
Good communication and coordination skills;
Active learner;
Spirit of dedication and devotion under stress;
Storage knowledge is preferred;
English: Fluent in speaking, reading and writing.
Preferred:
Experience in IBM Storage HW/SW Products;
Experience in Operating System and SAN;
Experience in Technical Support.
