JOB SUMMARY

The lab technician is responsible for ensuring the daily operations of qualification tests. And all tests are preceded with correct method and the right internal or external standards. Take check, periodical maintenance and calibration for the equipments to keep them in good conditions. Provide assistance for QE/PE's on test results and non-compliances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Establish equipment lists and responsible for new equipment review and acceptance.
2. Develop and implement plans for equipment inspection, maintenance, and calibration. Keep equipment in good condition and working order.
3. Establish test SOP's for for various product categories and operating procedures for equipment.
4. Implement the measurement and test for the product with correct test method and right standards
5. Analyze the test results and give feedback to the quality engineer, project engineer, technology platforms and suppliers.
6. Assist engineers by providing in-depth analysis support by means of Lab's qualification testing & analyzing equipment on problems solving.
7. Complete evaluation reports and data presentations using prescribed forms.
8. Maintain all documentations and test records for all testing activities performed.
9. Provide training for teammates on test method, do G.R.R analysis to ensure the operator and equipment meet the test requirement.
10. Develop equipment sign-out log and monitor log to ensure equipment is return in a timely manner, in the condition in which it was checked out.
11. Test Sample management: Lab technician is responsible for management of test samples in the lab.. There should be a sample submission record and testing priorities should be established at the time of submission.
12. Keep the lab clean and make sure the temperature and humidity meet the lab requirement

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1. College degree or above with mechanical engineering background
2. At least 3 years working experience on Lab or related field and familiar with test of juvenile products is preferred(Sr. technician needs at least 5 years work experience)
3. Must be familiar with drawing reading
4. Good command in both reading and written English
5. Free use of the Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
6. Good health both in physical and mental. no colorblind
7. Good communication skills
8. Experience on infant car seat test is preferred
