We are one of the leading buying offices of athletic items and garments with the entities at Hong Kong and Southern China. To cope with our expansion, we are looking for the QA Auditor for Brooks Running with the below requirements:

Role Summary and Responsibilities:

Position supports and reports directly to the QA Manager and is assigned key responsibility for process, component, and final product quality assessments. Oversees all aspects of manufacturing operations within the factory and vendor base to meet Brooks quality standards, supports corporate goals for quality assurance initiatives, acts as a liaison between Brooks and the factory, and coordinates training of factory staff to facilitate product excellence through guidance, auditing, and inspection functions.

1. Manage Product Quality:
Monitor product excellence within the manufacturing base through the enforcement of Brooks quality standards and policy deployment, identify issues and resolve concerns in a timely manner. Facilitate and implement practices to expedite the factory’s transition from end-of-the-line QC to factory driven in-process QA. Perform regular audits to ensure factories adherence to PFC’s, MQAA Best Practices, Standardized Work, category requirements, and other Brooks quality / packaging checklists. Confirm proper machine maintenance and record keeping of factory equipment. Hold Brooks inspection of final product, Promo orders, and other special need orders. Carryout random spot checks of completed components & product; engage supervisors, QA/QC personnel, and workers in daily quality education and discussions. Monitor materials and components to ensure all meet established Brooks bonding & physical properties throughout production.

2. Facilitate the Development of Factory Driven QA:
Help pursue a “self-managed” quality message within the factory by educating factory personnel Brooks quality guidelines and MQAA Best Practices, translating specific quality expectations and the definition of craftsmanship required in all products. Demonstrate correct processes through on the job training and illustrate benefits of maintaining proper process controls. Engage directly in the training of Factory Hired Inspectors on how to emulate the Brooks QA Auditor role. Utilize FHIs as resources in QC duties, workshop auditing, quality initiatives, IC inspections, and verification of shipping documentation. Test, evaluate, and provide feedback to QA Manager and factory management on FHI performance.

3. Communications:
Serve as the main communication link between Brooks and factory management and staff. Communicate ‘one voice’ to the factory on all issues while supporting team decisions. Maintain connectivity with the Category and/or Engineering team through effective communication, participation in key Commercialization trials & meetings, contributing ideas and suggestions in the process to help ensure product readiness and manufacturability concerns are identified and effectively resolved prior to initial production. Provide valuable documented manufacturing feedback to the commercialization and manufacturing teams . Involvement in routine quality meetings with factory staff, submit regular reports as required by QA Manager to allow for & promote dialogue surrounding pertinent manufacturing issues.

4. Supports factory partners in CR and RSL Compliance:
Assist the CR team in implementation of and adherence to Brooks Code of Conduct, Compliance guidelines, and Environmental Engineering projects at the factories and vendors. Help to monitor and document factories successes as well as development opportunities against CR action plans. Communicate and coordinate with Management and related factory personnel on Compliance initiatives or issues occurring in the factories in a timely manner.


Role Requirements:
- Working Location: Southern China or Dongguan City
- Minimum of 5 years of production/QA experience
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (writing and speaking) - ability to communicate clearly with other teams.
- Communication, organizational skills and a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Advanced Knowledge of footwear production process
- Aggressive and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
