GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS:
？ Factory Production, Plant and Machinery
？ To manage Factory’s production and technical section as per Company’s Organizational Chart
？ Development of new and improvements to existing products
？ Continuous productivity and efficiencies improvement
？ Ensuring that the Factory is operating in conformity to ISO9001 Rev 2000, HACCP, GMP and other Customers’ product purchase requirements (e.g. McD, KFC etc)
？ For all Technical, Art work and quality matters related to Customers Inquiries, prior to, during and post production stages
？ To trouble shoot and resolve all technical and production matters, and together with Maintenance Manager ensure Plant and machineries are kept in tip-top operating conditions
？ Selection of machineries required to meet production needs and requirements
？ For selection of machineries to be procured ensuring such machinery selected achieved objectives set
？ To ensure Factory’s operations are performing in accordance to or better than budgeted. Where adverse performance occurred, carried out all necessary to eliminate or militate against such adverse performance
？ To train and guide all production, technical, and artwork personnel, planning their career path and enhancing their skills and knowledge
？ To continually look out for new ideas and opportunities and to translate these ideas or opportunities into reality
？ To ensure at all times Factory is operated at optimum production and maintenance efficiencies
？ To plan for all production machineries consumables
？ To draw-up Factory annual budget and to ensure approved budget and/or targets set are achieved
？ To report all production performance and Technical developments to senior management as and when required. Such reports includes Key Performance Reports (KPI), weekly and or Month-end and year end report or as required
？ Factory’s production schedule and maintenance shut
？ To response to customers and suppliers inquiries (both written and verbal as may be required)
？ To make decisions on Factory capability of manufacturing products required and to check and confirm Technical Specifications
？ To ensure timely dispatch of samples and/or reply to quotations
？ To sign off all production samples and/or other operation matters demanding so
？ To ensure that all hazardous materials or solvent are properly stored and managed
？ Any other jobs or duties as directly by senior management and/or are required to make the Factory operate more effect and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
？ Preferably graduate in Printing or Paper Technology (but not essential) with at least 5 years hands on working experience in Printing and Packaging industry, the last of these two will be at similar position and/or holding similar responsibilities
？ Those with out academic qualifications must have 7 years direct machine operating experience for the whole series of machineries required for the production of Company’s products – well verse with some or all of these printing methods and carton making methods:- offset, gravure, flexo, screen printing, Die-cutting folder gluing (straight-line, CLB, 4/6 corners) and carton and corrugated board forming
？ Must be profession in the English language; both written and spoken
？ A team worker and able to lead and management diverse group of workers of varying skills, back ground and academic achievements
？ A lateral thinker must be able to think “outside the square” and provide elegant solutions suiting customers’ needs and requirements
？ Must be able to work independently without supervision and over extended hours.
