Job Main Responsibilities:

Ensure a proficient interface between programs and the supplier base for all direct material activities and enables the use of supply base knowledge to bring benefits to projects.
As part of the project team and drawing on the extended sourcing team en-sure that new products entering production, have a direct material cost that meets the requirement of the business case for the product.
In cooperation with category management, ensure the implementation of the supply strategies for the relevant Categories used in the product.
Coordinate the Sourcing activities with product development, and associated departments, to ensure that new products are on time and meet quality re-quirements.
Ensure supply side capability and capacity is available on time to support pro-duction of the product.
