Job Requirements:
- Results oriented with very strong drive;
- Independent "do'er";
- Strong on management–i.e. follow up and ensure progress;
- Strong on reporting on time with a high data quality;
- Strong on people development–i.e. develop his/her organization to perform increas-ingly better every day;
- Experience with China sourcing and management of Chinese FTEs is an asset;
- Experience in the sourcing competence area–i.e. supplier relationship management;
- Structured approach and very data driven–experienced with defining and codifying processes and procedures;
- Strong communication skills – can sell the "happy message" of a Group China sourcing office to all stakeholders in the Nilfisk-Advance Group.
- A master/ bachelor degree in business/economics or science from a university in US or Europe is a plus;
- Experience with China sourcing and local conditions is a must.
- +5 years experience with sourcing or production is a must;


Job Main Responsibilities:
Continously identify,scope,plan and execute savings opporyunities to optimize Total Cost of Ownership for Nilfisk-Advance;
- Optimize TCO Performance of suppliers in own categories,including
1) Category strategies
2) Supplier performance tracking
3) TCO optimization initiatives
- Work with category managers to optimize TCO of globally managed categories
- Support NAPD projects ad hoc
- Act as liaison officer between regional factories and category managers responsible for local spend
1) Represent Procurement at fasctory BBM's
2) Monitor development of spend/TCO per factory and work proactively for continuous improvement
- Implement Procurement strategic initiatives on an ongoing basis
- Develop team (direct reports) and manage on-site Procurement team members day-to-day (direct and indirect reports)
- Manage local sourcing coordination and data management
