Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to support the development and launch of new products. Work with North American based engineers to optimize product designs to meet cost and technical objectives. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in China and ensure compliance with quality specifications. Coordinate information flow and communications between NA Engineers and Chinese suppliers. Source products/parts to maximize competitive advantage. Maintain an office in your home.

Qualifications to include; BS/BA in mechanical or electrical engineering, 5 or more years of experience in product development, quality control, or manufacturing and the ability to travel to US/Canada several times/year. Experience with small (less than 1 kW) electrical motors preferred, as well as familiarity with quality audits of production manufacturing processes, ISO system and UL/CSA standards. English: ability to write and to speak English level 4 minimum or equivalent.
