职位描述
Serve as company’s local spokesperson, manage PR and CSR initiatives, assist regional director in management of key relationships, and develop relationships with key NGOs. Domestic travel is required for the job.
JD:
1. Public Relations & Media relations; Corporate Communication
Operates at the regional level, mainly with key media in cities. Reports directly to Regional Director but gets functional direction and consistency from the Sr. Dir. PR (BJ).
Supports the work of the rest of the Regional team. Assist in the Public Relations strategic planning to proactively advance the initiatives of the business.
Serves as the local city-level company spokesperson for to ensure statements and key messages of high sensitivity and impact are provided to the media by improving and protecting corporate and division reputation
Deliver to relevant parties’ communications materials (for example, media plans, press releases, talking points).
Develop, maintain, and leverage relationships with regional, local, and online journalists for proactive and reactive media stories.
Support creation of corporate messaging that advances corporate reputation and develop, review, and submit for approval message frameworks.
Identify public relations opportunities, threats, and best practices. Escalate concerns to regional management and to Sr. Dir. PR (BJ) as required.
Manage internal resources to deliver results.
Provide management updates reflecting key public relations initiatives on routine basis.
Participate in external communications in the event we have crises or need arises to provide reactive statements to media inquiries regarding negative events.
Coordinates with home office and other regional PR professionals to ensure consistency of messages are delivered.
Work with CAM’s to ensure local media are being managed appropriately.
Assists in the development of responses to government.
2. Corporate Social Responsibility and community relations
Works with Regional Director and CAM’s to execute plan coordinated CSR strategy in cities.
Assists Regional Director in maintenance of key relationships with city-level internal customers such as Operations, Merchandise and Asset Protection
Work with Senior management and Operations to create effective store level and community engagement events
Develops communication strategy for Walmart CSR activities. Develop external and internal properties that accurately reflect tour strategy, our successes and effectively “tell our stories”.
Manage budget (~$200,000) for community based events and volunteerism
Develop and maintain relationships with local NGO’s. Keep strong sense of direction of the country and the government. Bring expertise to senior management so that we incorporate new trends into our CSR strategies.
Work with Director of digital media to effectively use online platforms for sharing our CSR achievements and create broader awareness
Skills and Knowledge :
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Operations or related field and 5-8 years experience in Fluent English, writing skills and public speaking skills
Professionalism
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Business, Journalism, Corporate Communications or related field
1-3 years in Multinational firm
1-3 years in Public relations firm
