Key Responsibility:

Process Management :
- Created P&IDs and FDS for hydrogenation and refining plant
- Create P&IDs for tankfarm and load outs
- Defined the process by working closely with COE and Process Suppliers.
- Understand equipment construction and design.
- Understand fluid mechanics and can use concepts in practical applications for the specialty fat plant.
- Understand Hydrogenation Process and recipe formulation and can use this understanding to design the plant.
- Process Safety and Risk Management- Understands the hazards and safety issues with design of a hydrogenation plant.
- Understands the fundamental of process controls.
- Has working knowledge of quality control and analytical techniques related to hydrogenation and refinery processes.
- Will work as production engineer after project finished.

Construction Management :
-Interpret plans and estimate costs and quantities of materials needed
-Plan construction methods and procedures
-Coordinate the supply of labor and materials
-Supervise construction sites and direct site managers and subcontractors
-Study building contract documents and negotiate with building owners and subcontractors
-Control preparation of cost estimates and the documentation for contract bids
Control payment to subcontractors by valuation of completed works
make sure that building regulations, standards and by-laws are enforced in building operations
-Consult with architects, engineers and other technical workers to make sure that design intentions are met.

Construction Safety
-Follow Cargill Safety Procedures for construction management
-Conduct Safety Inspections and Audits
-Attend and Conduct Safety trainings for contractors.
-Conducts regular and frequent job site inspections
-Contractor safety performance monitoring
-Contractor Prequalification for construction activity
-Near miss and accident investigation
Construction Quality:
-Ensures construction work is performed according to specifications and standards.

Regulatory Environment:
-Understand the basic regulations and laws related to plant construction and design
-Understands the safety requirements from local authorities related to hydrogenation plant design and operations.
Food Safety, Environmental,
-Helps incorporate food safety in desgin of the plant
-Takes environmental regulations and cargill specifications into consideration for design of the plant.

Employee Engagement:
-Demonstrates positive two-way communications, fair and consistent administration of company policy and procedures, responsiveness to employee concerns and problems.
-Maintains employee morale, productive workforce, and Business Unit/Company expectations.
-Coaches and counsels shift supervisors for job and career direction including using performance improvement plans for those receiving a Meets Some and Below rating.
-Participates in the selection of new operators/crew leaders and young engineers. Ensures that young engineers are following the training program, Performs regular reviews for the young engineers. Ensures that young engineers get all the inputs desired for a fast track learning (with the objective that in 2-3 years the young engineers can take up the position of the refinery supervisor).
Financial:
-Tracks project expenditures, makes adjustments as needed, and communicates progress to others
Administrative:
Assures required functions are performed in a timely and accurate manner and according to policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Engineering Degree – Chemical Engineering or Food Science
- 6-8 years of work experience in Hydrogenation, Inter-esterification or other such Speciality fat process.
- Construction Project experience in supervisory or managerial role
- English Language Skills
- AutoCAD drawing Skills
- Computer Use and Office software use
