Responsibilities

Function as Regional Liaison with Corporate HQ on tax and deferred tax entries
Coordinate with Corporate & external consultants on execution of tax planning initiatives
Keep abreast of developments on regional Corporate tax, VAT/GST and duties that impact Operations and Business in Asia all sites
Provide regional tax information and guidance for deal structuring, Operations and other Business requirements
Maintain Transfer Pricing Agreements and Documentation as tax support
Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Ad-hoc bank and related tax reports for Management and Corporate
Prepare and Update all related Sarbarnes and Oxley compliance documentation including narratives and control matrices
Advising and Managing Regional Corporate tax and indirect tax (GST/VAT/custom duties) compliance in Asia all sites
Implementing Corporate and Regional tax initiatives
Reviewing and recommending initiatives to minimise tax exposures
Function as Main Regional Contact for Secretarial information and matters
Prepare relevant Resolutions for AGMs, update of Signatories in Asia all sites etc
Prepare and Update all related Sarbarnes and Oxley compliance documentation including narratives and control matrices


Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with at least 5-7 years working experience in an MNC
Min 3 years in tax/treasury related function and all round accounting skills with analytical experience.
Knowledge of Asia countries tax regulation is a must and Knowledge of US tax regulations would be an advantage
Must have hands-on experience with common Treasury Products
Exposure in a Regional HQ environment will be an advantage.
Fluent in both written and spoken English
