-Determine and communicate to Accounts Managers about the feasibility of an inspection job according with current resources.
-Estimate man-days to assign for an inspection job. Provide this information to Scheduler for quotation purposes.
-Verify factory measuring / testing capabilities to ensure that product inspection / test can be performed.
-Ensure that measuring equipments are under valid calibration at the time of inspection.
-Develop Inspection Checklist and submit to Chief Engineer for approval.
-Prepare works for any Inspection jobs and make sure that the Inspector understands and has all technical documents needed to perform the inspection.
-Keep frequency communication with inspectors on side to make sure of the implementation of inspection at factory side.
-Review inspection reports for accuracy and completeness, assure that all input data to be viewed by the client is complete, not ambiguous, and meets the clients needs to make prompt decisions.
-Monitor quality performance of inspector by recording errors found in inspection report and report to Management Rep. in monthly basis.
-Assist Chief Engineer by providing planned training to inspectors.
-Assist Chief Engineer by investigating Root cause of quality issue, and implement defined CAP.
-Recommend appropriate disciplinary actions concerning inspection personnel.
-Possessing demonstrated experience in some of the following areas such as plastic injection molding, electrical and pneumatic hand tools, Bicycles and exercise equipment, electrical and electronic products and various consumer products.
-Ability to read blueprints and technical documents related to industries listed above.
-5 years minimum industry experience in a management or supervisory capacity required.
-Strong knowledge and practical experience of international standards applied to evaluate product conformity: UL, ISO, CSA, CE, etc.
-Good command in theory and practice of sampling plan and AQL.
Minimum Bachelors Degree preferably in Textile Engineering or other engineering discipline that is closely related.
