ISSW(IBM Software Service for WebSphere) is the service department of IBM and responsible for the software service delivery in China. Since we work closely with software development lab and unleash the lab resources and energy in the customer project implementation, we also named as Lab Based Service(LBS). In the past few years, the department grown fast and built many successful customer references with IBM software technology in China, such as for SOA, BPM, integration, Cloud etc.. The industries include telecom, banking, retail, transportation, manufactory, healthcare, public, etc..

China Lab Based Services (LBS) combines both solution development and service delivery in one integrated offering. Our mission is to support IBM software selling in GCG, and extend lab services to AP clients by working closely with SWG Sales team, TSS team, and services organizations such as GBS, GTS, and business partners. The LBS team delivers high quality IBM product based services to clients with our deep expertise on state-of-the-art technologies, product know-how's and client facing solution skills.

LBS offers great opportunities and challenges for people at various stages of their careers and in different engineering disciplines. LBS is made up of a team of dedicated leader and technical contributors passionate about delivering the best software services including those related with product basics (Deployment/Customization, Problem determination, Trouble Shooting, Performance Tuning, etc.) and advanced technical services (Consulting, Business Analyzing, Architecture Design, Joint Application Development, Project Management, etc), as well as services using our technical assets and industry solution offerings.

Job Responsibilities

- To deliver WebSphere brand software implementation service in customer projects. The employee will be involved into different phases of the projects according to his/her skills, such as business requirment analysis, architecture design, micro designe, leading development and performance tuning, etc..

- Overall technical responsibility for the success of WebSphere products related solution construction, implementation and system integration in a technology, industry or business specialty.

- Delivering new and complex high quality projects to clients in response to varying business requirements.

- Utilizing in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technology in conjunction with business skills to influence clients

- As IT Architect, Leading team to design and develop Websphere based solutions, customer engagement and consulting

- As Specialist, deep hands-on skills for BPM products

Job Requirements (skills/experiences)

Required Skills

- Rich project implementation experience with at least one of IBM BPM product skill, such as Lombardi, WebSphere Process Server, iLOG, WODM

- For 5+ years IT Architect/Specilalist Experience with deep knowledge for java development, J2EE application server;

- Strong communication and leadership skills

- Banking project experience or development lab experience is preferable.

Qualifications

- Good written and verbal communication skills, be logical and well organized

- Passion for new technology, good team work and high responsibility

- English: Fluent both on speaking and writing

- Degree: MS or BS degree, major in CS or equivalent
