职位描述
Responsibilities:
Supporting procurement activities including multiple high value/risk commodities, critical technology and complex parts of subassemblies.
Recommends and implements improvements in business processes, inter-country communication.
Develops and implements strategic plans frequently in support of multiple business units or geographies.
Develops proposals / contracts / programs for the most complex, high risk goods and services typically having little or no precedent.
Monitors and measures the results to assist in achieving organizational objectives or quality, cost, delivery and profitability.
Makes recommendations to the worldwide commodity team(s) on decisions concerning payment of surcharges, penalties or premiums.
Delegation of procurement commitment authority is granted in some circumstances. In those instances, must ensure that financial controls are established and that appropriate documentation is available to maintain audit readiness. Receives only general management direction in the form of broad objectives.
The daily procurement operation is as below, but not limited to:.
To execute procurement job exactly and completely.
Good communication with internal related functions.
Good communication negotiation with suppliers.
To manage supplier performance and execute supplier performance report.
To monitor and follow up daily supplier delivery.
To manage supplier sourcing and localization.
Qualifications
Engineering Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management
Three years+ experience in Procurement
Comprehensive knowledge of market intelligence, international sourcing and business principles such as purchasing, materials logistics management, business and contract law, licensing, finance and accounting.
Requires extensive, broad based experience in procurement and related functions with particular emphasis on negotiation and contract administration.
Requires current knowledge in multiple commodities and a specific engineering discipline (such as electronics, mechanics, manufacturing, metallurgy or chemistry).
Knowledge is used to solve complex technical problems, develop broad business processes, conduct in-depth analysis and develop detailed business plans.
Good English written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills when working with suppliers, customers, team members and management.
Possess strong computer based skills in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Must be able to work independently and with members of the Procurement team
Must have ability to learn SAP, contracts database and other Procurement systems.
Some international travel required..
Asian language skills desirable
Analytical, business negotiation skills needed.
