Release Manager
CLIENT SUMMARY
Our Client is a global IT service provider; it covers telecommunications, high-tech, pharmaceutical, trading, manufacturing etc.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Delivers and improves the operational part of global end-2-end ICT Infrastructure services and improves the service operation for the whole, global business of DSM, that fulfills or exceeds the business and corporate requirements and service levels;
2. Reviews the release policy on a yearly basis based on experience, audit findings and input from business and IT;
3. Responsible for definition & planning of the release, creating and maintaining the release agenda;
4. Informs CAB on the release calendar;
5. Defines the roll-out strategy based on input from responsible change coordinators, customers and relevant stakeholders;
6. Presents the releases to the business reference board for approval of roll-out strategy;
7. Prepares the release based on final deliverables;
8. Defines and executes the communication plan per release;
9. Responsible for the roll-out of the release, supported by the responsible change coordinators;
10. Responsible for the planning, preparation, testing, distribution and implementation of the release;
11. Sets up all relevant decision/information meetings;
12. Reports on release management performance (KPIs).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. BA/BA+;
2. Basic management skills;
3. Proficient in the English language;
4. Communication skills;
5. ITIL 3 certified (Foundation at minimum);
6. Project management knowledge;
7. Training of the ITSS implemented processes (Change management, problem management, knowledge management, incident management);
8. Basic project management skills;
9. Advanced knowledge of the process management and ticketing system;
10. Knowledge of business and business needs and practices related to the usage of the ICT services and tools;
11. Knowledge of implemented processes involved in the delivery of the contracted services;
12. Knowledge of the functional basics of the provided ICT Services and the tariffs.
13. Experience in technical ICT functions > 4 years;
14. Experience in release management > 2 years.
