Job Purpose:
1. Focal Point for RE Asset Protection in Client China.
2. To manage Security Contracts, ensuring that Client Security Staff (if applicable) and contracted suppliers combine to provide a consistently professional service in order that the site(s) conform to Group Security Standards.
3. Liaise appropriately within Client, CS, other business security teams, and externally, particularly with Public Security Bureau (PSB) and local Emergency Services to ensure that Physical Security and Access Control is fit for purpose and directed to counter perceived threats.
4. Carry out risk assessment of the site, develop and implement various policies to keep security risks to “As Low as Reasonably Practicable” on Client’s Assets.
5. Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for all types of emergencies and ensure that all agencies involved work in an aligned manner.
6. Implement Facility Security Plan for protection of Client assets.
7. Advice and update management on various security related issues.

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Responsible to the Territory Asset Protection Manager for the security provision at Client China offices in Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou/Chengdu, to ensure that the level of security cover complies, as a minimum, with Group Security Standards.
2. Oversee all security incidents at Client Beijing Offices and, if necessary, assume responsibility for their investigation to ensure thorough enquiry is conducted. Provide 24/7 “On Call” support to Security Operations.
3. Encourage a high level of safety awareness and participation in safety matters to ensure the Security Department significantly contributes to a safe working environment.
4.Maintain liaison with PSB at Headquarters (HQ)/Embassies/consulates and local level regarding general security issues and incidents. Be aware of and share intelligence that helps ensure the Company assets are protected in the best possible manner.
5. Display a high level of Customer Service values, attitudes and behaviours, and encourage a service ethos within the Team.
6. Provide security presence at external Client event, if applicable, and prepare post-operational reports and guidance.
7. Conduct Security Risk Assessments (SRA’s) for the Assets and external events to meet existing or perceived threats such as Protest Activity and to react to Government Threat Level changes.
8. Carry out any other duty related to the position as reasonably requested by Asset Management.
9. Represent Real Estate Asset Protection at Client China offices in Beijing/ Shanghai/Guangzhou/ Chengdu in FM, HSSE, Fire and Business Continuity meetings.
10. Contribute to the operational management of fire safety systems, alarm testing & evacuations.
11. Maintain an ongoing interface with relevant Company functions ie; CS, HR, HSE, Contract & Procurement, IT, Finance etc.
12. Ensure following compliance from the Security contract company on;
? HSE
? Life Saving Rules (LSR’s)
? HSE Plan, policy, training, competency matrix compliance and revisions.
? HEMP
? VPSHR
? Contractor performance evaluation via KPI’s
? Contract revisions and renewals
? Adherence to labour laws and other local regulatory requirements
? Ensure due diligence confirmation of Contract Security personnel deployed
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Qualifications
A Level/Higher Level or equivalent.
Type and Length of Experience
A minimum of 10 years previous experience of Security work in a Supervisory or Managerial role within the Police, Armed Forces or in the Contract Security industry and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering on challenging tasks in a demanding and operational environment.
