ABOUT DIRECT HR:
DIRECT HR IS A PREMIUM CHINA-FOCUSED RECRUITMENT FIRM SPECIALIZED IN SUPPORTING LEADING EUROPEAN, AMERICAN AND CHINESE EMPLOYERS WITH THEIR TALENT ACQUISITION IN CHINA.

Very frequent within China
Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
1) Marketing related responsibilities:
+ Initiating the companies carbon services
+ Create a marketing strategy for the development of the "Carbon Balance initiative"
+ Develop the necessary marketing materials to promote the Carbon Balance initiative
+ Research on potential client enterprises willing to initiate a carbon management and/or Corporate Social Responsibility strategy to propose the carbon offset program by Carbon Balance
+ Meet potential clients and partners to promote and sell the carbon services by Carbon Balance
+ Draft sales contracts for carbon services
+ Keep abreast with new developments of the carbon market and carbon trading in China
+ Take part in seminars, events and symposia as speaker or participant to promote the Carbon Balance initiative and meet potential clients
2) Office management related tasks:
+ Supervise the Company’s accounting procedures
+ Supervise the accounting procedures in the position of CFO of a start-up JV Company in which the employer has a small equity (manage 1 resource’s work: accountant)
+ Internal reporting on the JV Company’s financial status to the management (JV Company BOD and Company)
+ Provide administration support on various tasks relating to ensure accountability to the Mother Company back home in Germany
+ Supervise the annual audit work for the Company
+ Quality Management of internal documentation produced or received by the Company, including (but not limited to) agreements, MOUs, general contracts
+ Documents upkeep, management and storage
+ HR Management tasks: (i) Management of contacts with recruiting companies, relations with new and current employees; (ii) Management of the entire HR employment flow; (iii) Handling current staff matters (including contract renegotiation and renewal, staff talks, company events, organization of training/capacity building activities)
+ Company Management Support: (i) Help define and implement Company strategies; (ii) Follow up on new local regulations regarding taxes, labor etc.; (iii) Problem solving of Company managing matters
+ Other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
+ Masters degree in business major, economics or equivalent
+ Sales and/or marketing and/or BD experience in China with international companies
+ Proven track record of selling services to international companies in China
+ Local and/or international proven working experience in office management
+ Experience in leading a team of Chinese nationals
+ Familiarity with environment sector will be a plus
+ Familiarity of the global carbon market / Clean Development Mechanism will be a plus
+ Experience in service sales will be a plus
+ High quality report writing skills
+ Profound knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
+ Strong presentation skills
+ Negotiation skills and public relations skills
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
+ Speak fluent English
+ Working knowledge Chinese or better
