ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limiting to the following duties:
? Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
? May develop and track project plans
? Monitors policies procedures and standards relating to benefits
? Recommends changes
? Manage payroll and compensation related processes including the annual China incentive bonus plan
? Coordination of all recruiting, employment, training, staffing issues
? Assist in designing and implementation of communications and employee relations programs
? Assist to implement the Performance Management Processes and Systems in China
? Implement and enforce appropriate HR systems and policies, ensuring compliance with the local labor law
? All internal and external reporting requirements for employment related activities, including all required government reports and submissions in China
? Adheres to policies and procedures

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS:
? External contacts for this position include headhunters and insurance company or agency clients
? Internal contacts include all regional office staff members as well as other administrative staff in other offices of the company to gain information or to resolve problems
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND GIVEN:
The incumbent of this position is responsible for his/her own work. Only new work is reviewed before issue, all other work is handled independently, reporting status to managers/supervisor. Some work requires analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment, but most assignments are specific and well defined.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND COMPETENCY:
This position requires 4-year accredited college degree and 3 years
of relevant experience, or advanced degree(s) and 2 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of equivalent relevant experience. Bachelor of Human Resource, Business Administration, Social Sciences or related education background will be the preference.
This position also requires:
? Develops professional expertise by maintaining contacts in the industry
? Resolves routine issues; identifies non-routine issues and may take actions to resolve
? Informs necessary individuals on status of work and decisions
? Prepares for technical or managerial advancement Seeks innovative ways to accomplish objectives
? Seeks feedback from others to improve skills
? Concentrates on key objectives despite distractions
? Identifies and focuses on critical deliverables and high priority assignments
? Effectively communicates with external contacts to ensure positive outcomes
? Acknowledges and addresses issues honestly and without judgment
? Uses statistical methods to identify own department's roadblocks that impact other departments' abilities to meet customer needs
? Attends external seminars and visits customers and other companies to continue learning
? Works in cross-functional teams to improve processes that cross department boundaries
? Works with team members to develop team goals and plans, resolve problems and achieve goal
? May assume role of team leader on small teams
? Demonstrates understanding of the company businesses and products and articulates how own function impacts business results
? Searches for ways to increase customer satisfaction
