POSITION SUMMARY

POSITION DESCRIPTION
In this role you will take functional strategy and break down into projects that will best fit the needs of the business. Provide a liaison between the function lead of the strategy and the project management systems. Support the global PIT strategy in order to enable the processes required to support the functional areas.
- Lead projects as required
- Mentor project team by shadowing and providing guidance on approach, tool selection & execution
- Support strategic planning and development of the customer care group towards continuous improvement mindset (Six Sigma, OA, PM)
- Establish and manage the project portfolio to ensure it is addressing the functional goals to meet strategy
- Report functional priorities and align the development priorities
- Strategically advise the major areas of process improvement
- Drive consistency in project approach within the function
- Feed development plans into the global project management development program
- Support the delivery of the global project management training programmes
- Report on the usability & effectiveness of the PM process steps, tools, reporting and R&R within the function. Make recommendations if changes are necessary.
- Provide input and recommendations to the global project portfolio including additions, deletions and prioritization based on strategy and bandwidth.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Displays strong leadership and business acumen skills
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Strong drive for results, action oriented and highly customer focused.
- Excellent motivational and team building skills.
- Data headlining skills (from raw data to meaningful information) and strong analytical skills
- Posses strong time management and project management skills
- Ability to drive change management
- Knowledge of strategic & operational planning activities
- Flexibility to support global collaboration outside normal work hours
- Experience in project management & managing matrix project teams.
- Advanced user of Microsoft office package. (particularly access & excel)
- Six Sigma Master Black Belt Belt preferred or Black Belt
- Functional knowledge of reporting through Cognos, Qlickview is an advantage
