Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager, KA
Job Descriptions:
To ensure the successful execution of KA category strategy, together with the Supplier Development (SD) counterpart, the purchasing manager works as a business partner, deploying and executing the corresponding operations and supply base strategies, through the effective management of the designated suppliers and sub-categories to ensure the compliance and the business’ needs are well met and KPIs are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supplier development strategy/plan development and deployment through supplier relationship management
· Establish a long term business development strategy for the designated supplier(s) in line with the business strategy and requirement
· Identify the year-over-year development and improvement needs of the designated suppliers and set the KPIs
· Set and agree on the action plans with the suppliers to drive the implementation
· Engage the proper resources to ensure the development and improvement KPIs are met, e.g. JMA (Joint-management-agenda), DfX conventions, etc.
· TCO (total cost of ownership) management
· Understand the cost structures and cost drivers at the designated supplier(s)
· Drive the year-over-year cost reduction to beat the headwinds, via value sourcing, supplier productivity improvements, and leveraging supply chain optimization, etc.
· Drive the sub-category purchasing strategy to ensure the business success
· Define and drive the proper supply base rationalization strategy in line with the sub-category development strategy and roadmap
· Make allocation decisions when necessary, following the jointly agreed approach and TCOs
· cout and develop new suppliers when necessary.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:
· 8+ experiences in global sourcing/purchasing fields, preferably in auto, appliances, and EMS industries.
· In-depth understanding of manufacturing operation costing and mastery of cost engineering
· Engineering (mechanical, electrical) background preferred
· MBA degree preferred
· Business acumen, analytic, financial driven, stakeholder management, strong interpersonal and influencing skills
