Working in one of Philips Corporate Staff Departments, you'll be at the heart of our worldwide company. These departments play a key role in supporting the Royal Philips Electronics Board of Management (BoM). So you may be involved in helping manage the processes and functions core to our operations: Performance Management, Finance, Human Resources, Technology Management, Brand Management, or Information Technology. Whatever your role, you'll be helping implement BoM decisions, measure our performance, set company-wide standards and drive corporate initiatives. You may be involved in the creation of corporate products as diverse as our Annual Report, our brand image or a high-quality talent pool. But in every case, your activities will touch those of colleagues throughout Philips, as well as customers and stakeholders outside.,
Your Responsibilities
Objectives: *Discretely perform fraud investigations into alleged non-compliances with the company's business principles in the region. Responsibilities: *Lead complex fraud investigation or assist in highly complex fraud investigations in the region and report back in line with PIA procedures. If necessary will also participate in fraud investigations globally. *Interact and engage with different stakeholders across the region where you lead or assist in fraud investigations. *Managing the different stakeholders including higher management while successfully driving a sensitive process. *Leads (medium risk) audit activities (prepare, execute and report) in line with the required PIA procedures. *Write clear and concise reports for investigation findings/audit results and report outcome to the senior mgt./audtiees. *Document findings and conclusions in line with the prescribed tools and methods. Is responsible for the entire documentation and reporting of the audit or fraud report in line with PIA procedures and systems *Participate in, provide input for certain initiatives for the Fraud Knowledge Management Community Problem Solving : *Devises investigative solutions including methods for highly complex fraud investigations in the region *Identifies trends in the region/globally and suggest for solution/ follow up
Your Profile
*Fluent English and Mandarin, in both oral and written; *University degree combined with solid financial experience *ACCA/CPA or relevant public accountant/audit certification is required; *Preferably a certification as a public accountant or internal auditor with at least 3 years of experience in a similar position *A solid understanding of business information and financial reporting systems, accounting and auditing standards and procedures *Strong knowledge and practice experience in evidence gathering and investigative techniques *Strong knowledge of the legal system and understanding the language of the legal community *Strong interviewing and reporting skills. *Effective reporting on status of work and timely completion of tasks *Strong developed communication and influencing skills
