Department : Domestic Appliance -SHA
The site is part of I&D Domestic Appliance. It focuses on the development of Kitchen Appliance products based on China consumer insights. Important categories are Induction Cooker, Rice Cooker, Electric Pressure Cooker etc.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for working with the local team to deliver the projects & products.
- you drive Consumer Centric innovation, Simplicity and Open Innovation.
- you integrate Philips, partners and suppliers functions and you drive x-functional, x-site, x-partner and x-cultural collaboration
- you inform all stakeholders pro-actively on the status of projects and all technical issues in your innovation team

Candidate profile
You have a university degree in a relevant technical subject, preferably Physics or Mechanical Engineering.
You have a proven track record and experience (> 8 yrs.) in participating and leading product development projects.
Domain knowledge in domestic appliance is a plus.
You have
- Chinese nationality or at least a proven affinity with Asia.
- experience in leading a multi-partner development environment.
- experience in analyzing and aligning the stakeholder environment and needs. You have negotiation skills.
- experience in balancing risks and opportunities of innovative solutions. Preferably you are familiar with Design for Six Sigma.
- experience with strategic and system architectural thinking.
You are
- entrepeneurial, change agent and goal getter.
- creative, analytically strong and also hands-on.
- a strong leader and team player. You are an excellent communicator and motivator, skilled in managing interpersonal processes beyond your I&D domain. Proven business acumen. End to end experience and approach.

- always looking for perfection. You don't accept underperformance or poor results. You have a quality mindset.
