Responsibilities

You are for responsible for supply planning, ordering and improvement activities for a pre-defined product portfolio to enable global sales.

Planning
• You will prepare and lead Sales & Operations Planning meetings where the salesplans are handshaked with the various marketing channels.
• You will manage the goodsflow of your product portfolio within the service level and stock targets as agreed with you.
• You will prepare a consolidated forecast towards the outsourced manufacturing partners and ensure feedback towards this is received.
• You will prepare and manage the phase-in plan/phase-out plan of products in your category order to minize obsolete risk.
• You are the logistic representative in the project creation team and are responsible for logistic input for each of the milestones for your product categories and related KPIs.
• In addition to finished goods planning, you will review the availability of key-components (a.o. leds/optics/ic) across various outsourced manufacturing partners, and where needed support corrective actions incl linkage to component planners and commodity teams.

Ordering & execution
• You will prepare purchase orders towards outsourced manufacturing partners and ensure feedback towards these is received and reflected back into SAP and is aligned with requested date.
• You execute daily operational activities in SAP (check of stock & available to promise at product level, in scarity allocate stock to certain customers, act on alerts and warnings, etc.).
• You act as contact person towards outsoured manufacturing partner.
• You act as contact person towards sales organizations regarding logistical/availability information.
• You set-up the masterdata for new products.

Improvement
• You will set-up, agree and implement/endorse a logistic agreement with subcontractor, within the GBU/commodity team framework.
• Initiate, implement and participate supply chain improvement projects for its product category to meet the agreed targets or to support new customer service offerings.

Requirements

Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences.
At least 3-5 years of experience in planning, preferably within outsourced manufacturing business models (ODM).
Hands-on experience in SAP R/3 (SD and MM module). Specific SAP APO (DP/ISP/BW) knowledge is highly preferred.
Knowledge about Logistics concepts of the commercial and industrial organization is up to date.
Preferably familiar with APICS (CPIM) or other comparable certifications.
Be able to operate in a dynamic business environment and have excellent communication skills in English.
