CLIENT SUMMARY
Our Client is one of the largest retailers; its wide range of products is clothing, entertainment, technology and music, sporting, gardening, grocery and many others.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Product
1. Take direction from merchandising team on products to be sourced
2. Effectively identify business opportunities e.g. Products/categories
3. Obtain quotes on price, delivery, packaging and other terms of trade on behalf of the buyers
4. Review POs
Production and delivery Issues
1. Sourcing for new production opportunities.
2. Assist in product development process to ensure that products meet buyer's quality
3. Provide advice on design and samples to meet buyer's requirements.
4. Monitor and check production status
5. Liaise with the suppliers to ensure goods are shipped on time and within the terms of trade agreed with the buyer
6. Handle buyers' enquires
7. Responsible for correct quality and on time delivery
8. Maintain good relationship with suppliers
9. Assist on supplier evaluation work
10. Prepare the related production list/documents for Canton fair and buying trips.
QC Inspection Issues
1. Liaise with Inspection Company, Such as SGS, ITS for products testing and final inspection etc.

4. Able to travel (Both Domestic and overseas)
5. Service and result oriented
6. Good communication and products presentation Skills

Job Purpose:
- To buy for a category, input into and deliver to agreed strategy through the complete end to end management of KPI's including financial, ranging and supply of their allocated category

Internal:
- Senior Merchandiser, Merchandise Manager, Assistant Merchandiser, Senior Lead Buyer, Assistant Buyer, Senior Assistant Buyer, Planner, Operations Manager, HR of SRO, DSO Liaison Assistant.
External:
- Suppliers, SGS, ITS
