Responsibilities:
1. Conduct performance evaluation of cryogenic air separation plants, identify efficiency improvement / cost saving opportunities and author plant evaluation reports with recommendations for safe and optimum operation of the plants

2. Evaluate performance of rotating equipment and provide recommendations for efficient, safe and reliable operation

3. Perform economic analysis of proposed plant upgrades to improve plant performance and generate capital requisition documentation where applicable

4. Provide technical support to cryogenic air separation production facilities to resolve plant process/equipment problems

5. Review Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID), develop equipment process datasheets, review and approve vendor drawings as needed

6. Develop and review standard operating procedures

7. Provide support in the development and implementation of advanced process controls for optimizing plant operation

8. Organize and coordinate review and approval of hydrocarbon safety audits

Requirement:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Cryogenics.

2. Over 3-year ASU plant operation/engineering experience , must be capable of analyzing and optimizing of cryogenic Air Separation Units (ASU) , ASU operation/troubleshooting or new plant start-up experience is a plus

3. Good knowledge of process and mechanical systems, rotating equipment and PLC/DCS process control

4. Skill of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ability to learn internal systems such as SmartSolve, ALTACS, etc.

5. Good English skill both in written and oral

6. Good communication skills and be able to effectively interface with other engineering disciplines / organizations, plant operations and senior management; Capable of effectively working within a diverse and international organization

7. Has analytical mind and well organized, be able to deal multi-task with changing priorities

8. Be able to wear personal safety equipment, including hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame resistant clothing, be willing to work around process equipment including traversing ladders and stairs

9. Willing to travel and carry a cellular phone and respond to requests for technical assistance during off-duty hours
