Job Description and Responsibilities
· Monitor legislative and regulatory changes that affect the bank's operations in the PRC and advise business lines of the impact of these changes on their business.
· Develop procedures and policies to embed these changes into the bank's processes.
· Conduct regular monitoring and surveillance to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations/ policies.
· Assist the PRC Country Compliance Officer in analyzing new product offerings from a compliance perspective.
· Act as major contact with local regulators in Guangzhou.
· Undertake other duties and responsibilities assigned by PRC Country Compliance Officer.

· Monitor the timely distribution of Group and local regulatory circulars, procedures and guideline implementation.
· Supervise the compliance of internal and external returns and reporting and ensure timely submission to headoffice and local authorities.
· Monitor regular training to ensure the staff awareness of compliance and anti-money laundering.
· Assist to apply for the launching of new business or product and follow up the approval progress with local authorities.
· Arrange compulsory reading of Compliance Officer Handbook and Compliance Manual by all Managers and staff officers periodically and keep proper record.

Job Requirements
· Minimum 5 year related working experience
· Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Banking, Law or other relevant fields.
· Good knowledge of banking products
· Thorough awareness of the local (PRC) regulatory environment and PRC regulators.
· Strong analytical and monitoring skills
· Clear verbal and written communication. ( Chinese and English)
· Team player with a positive attitude toward challenges.
