Manufacturing Engineer
地点：奉贤（有班车接送），汇报：Site manager

Mission:
1. Within the Product Time to Market process, receive the new process provided by ME TC: works on the layout and coordinates local preparation to receive tools and facilities, helps ME TC to install the new process, is trained by ME TC to be able to train local manufacturing staff, takes part to the pilot serie and validate the Process Qualification contribute Report made by ME TC.
2. Upon decision to create, transfer or duplicate manufacturing activities in his location or in a local Toll Manufacturer, support ME TC in local preparation and installation as in Product Time To Market Process.
3. Support in day to day operation local Manufacturing staff (technical support, process revision CO local application, support to increase productivity,). If needed, request technical support from ME TC
Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:
1 PTM process:
? Phase 3: works on the layout with ME TC and coordinates local preparation to receive tools and facilities from ME TC. Support ME TC to install new processes, is trained by ME TC to be able to train local manufacturing staff, takes part to the pilot serie run and validate the Process Qualification contribute Report made by ME TC.
? Phase 4: follow up local action plan defined in the process qualification report and keep informed ME TC of action plan achievement, report to ME TC the achievement of productivity and quality targets
2. Duplicate or transfer current existing product line: support ME TC in local preparation and installation as in Product Time to Market Process
3. Existing process of his TC:
? Day to day Technical Support: answers technical request on process, productivity, quality improvement, quality issue. Requests come from Local Manufacturing staff for MI site and from local SQA for Toll Manufacturer. Register day to day non conformity data to be able to provide manufacturing quality KPI and to alert in case of deviation
? CR/CO process: receives CO instruction from ME LC, translate and update manufacturing SOP, makes sure that Manufacturing staff understand and apply the revision, report quality follow up to ME TC if needed.
? Red or orange card quality issues: receives instruction from ME TC and apply curative action locally and report to ME TC on this quality issue
? Continuous improvement: report to ME TC manufacturing quality KPI, manage logistic claims caused by manufacturing. Takes part to the analysis of causes of deviation to the standard and pilot local action plan to come back to standard and of improvement
Key-performance indicators
Main contribution: propose and contribute to ensure the lowest total cost and highest quality is achieved for products produced in ASPAC
KPI:
? Monthly report detailing project updates activities carried out and problems addressed
? Reports on quality improvement and cost reduction
? ECO implementation on time
Position/Job Requirements:
Education/Training Required:
? Preferably a degree in manufacturing or production engineering
? With bachelor or above degree from an university
Work Experience Required:
? Similar position for a minimum of 5 years (Senior Engineer)
? Managing production / engineering changes
? Project management skills
? Lean Manufacturing implementation
Knowledge
? Knowledge of processes involved in manufacturing mechanical assemblies, including aspects of plastic molding processes, printed circuit assemblies, casting processes, forgings, machining, packaging, Geometric dimensioning & tolerance.
? Ability to read electrical, schematic and pneumatic drawings
? Ability to read technical prints
? ISO9000 quality management system
? Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement (5S, 6 sigma, JIT, VSM,….)
? Knowledge of SAP
? WORD, PPT and excel
? Must be able to speak and write good professional English.
Skills:
? Good communication / influencing skills (Train, run, motivate working sessions with both internal & overseas teams)
? Ability to effectively interface with engineering team and quality management.
? Strong analytical and simulation skills
? Ability to work on own initiative
