Job Description:
The position will be accountable for demand generation and competitive and market analysis for Architectural.
The position will also support applications development for existing and prospective customers.

The primary responsibilities include:
?Understand market needs (identify hidden needs, prioritize and advocate for high priority targets);
?Understand technical application needs and convert to product needs;
?Monitor industry trends; ensure general awareness and identify emerging trends;
?Provide competitive and market analysis;
?Translate complete value chain and new standards and codes into new product and application opportunities;
?Analyze, process, and summarize large amounts of information from meetings, interviews, and surveys and translate into transferable knowledge;
?Validate product attribute assumptions with specifies, ensures products meet norms and standards;
?Secure favorable specifications and product adoptions for technologies;
?Identify and pre-qualify potential partners to generate product demand;
?Identify and execute on opportunities to promote use of product (for example, technical papers presentation / conference participation); ?Influence code development as necessary for Architectural. Assess competitive threats (incumbent and new technology) as needed;
?Support Market Communications (shows, seminars, new product launches, and promotion)

Job Qualifications:
?Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, marketing, and market development (Architectural glass industry or Building materials preferred) with BS in a science related field;
?Fluent in English and Mandarin
?Ability to influence multifunctional and multicultural team without direct reporting relationship
?Strong business and analytical skills and problem solving capabilities.
?Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills to a multicultural/global organization
?Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools; especially PowerPoint and Excel.
?High motivation and results-oriented work ethic.
?Willingness to travel up to 40%.
