Job Description:

Lead a multi disciplinary team responsible for commissioning and validation activities for assigned systems, including document preparation and execution.

To monitor and report the progress of systems against agreed project schedules and resource requirements and to notify the C&Q manager of any issues affecting adherence to schedule.

Roles:

Facilitate/ expedite Mechanical Completion on the system

Perform walkdown of the system and work with Construction team to identify design issues earlier in the project

Ensure all system test documentation, IC/OC documents, SAT docs etc., are available and approved ready for use at the required time.

Ensure commissioning activities such as protocol execution are executed in accordance with procedures and to schedule.

Coordinate with the Construction team on Pre-Commissioning activities

To be the technical liaison between the vendors and BAS system for overall coordination of the activities leading to Commissioning completion

To Liaise with the relevant personnel from the construction team and safety team regarding pre-validation activities

To coordinate within the team any duties related to

– safety procedures

– Safety permits

– requests for test equipment

– requests for test materials

Responsibilities:

To ensure that system progress is achieved in line with schedule.

To notify, in a timely manner, the C&Q manager of any issues which impact on system progress.

To ensure that all work on the system is carried out in accordance with site safe working practices – method statements, safe plan of action, relevant permits, etc.

To coordinate all work with other system owners to minimize and resolve any conflicting tasks/ needs.

To be the technical lead for the BAS controlled system.
