Sourcing Manager

Sourcing Manager-美国建材行业垄断公司新招岗位，负责工厂原材料采购，有团队管理，良好的发展空间

Job Output:

This position is accountable and responsible for the effective leadership of the company’s direct and indirect sourcing and strategic sourcing function for the plant. This position also provides effective and efficient day to day tactical sourcing leadership, especially for raw materials and spare parts for Maintenance, Repair and Operating (MRO) and services. This position not only manages the day to day sourcing activities for these commodities, but provides consultancy for related sourcing throughout the company.

Key Process (Ownership/Participation):

§ Strategic Sourcing Planning and partnership with plant leadership

- Integrating, understanding and anticipating sourcing needs aligned with company goal, initiate corporate procurement strategy.

- Provide forecasts and analysis required for financial, capital, and strategic planning and budgeting.

- Forecasting of material cost and identification of economic trends that impact Raw Material Prices.

- Provide consultancy to internal customers on suppliers and market conditions and their impact on our businesses.

§ Identify, initiate and drive cost saving projects

- Identification and development of (alternative) suppliers

- Competitive sourcing through issue RFQ, quotation analysis, negotiation, contract award.

- Negotiate price, terms and conditions, for raw material, MRO spare parts and services from domestic and foreign suppliers and consultation from domestic and foreign suppliers.

- Negotiate favorable payment terms, and manage supplier payments.

§ Supplier Management

- Pro-actively monitor supplier’s health, performance, significant events, and the relationship; supplier scorecards.

- Establish appropriate controls to monitor key quality characteristics, predict and detect issues, analyze root cause for issues, and take corrective actions as appropriate.

§ People management

- Supervise the sourcing team in plant and improve subordinator’s competence with his/her management skill.

Measures of Effectiveness:

• Monthly purchasing variance;
• Cost reduction projects;
• Supplier measurement results;
• Customs satisfaction.

Value Added Activities:

Education & Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical or related field are preferred.
• Over six years experience in sourcing and procurement in the multinational companies with at least two years in managerial role.
• Preferred from Construction and Electronics Industry but not limited to other industry

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

• Expertise in the procurement of raw materials supplier and services
• Expertise in sourcing & develop suppliers
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good command of English
• Ability to be self-directed while also team oriented
• Financial analysis skills
• Market knowledge
• High degree of integrity
