Role Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our SAP Global Support Team working alongside the Functional Consultants based in Shanghai in support of our SAP system and businesses in Asia & Europe. This role requires a strong ABAP skill set with an in depth technical understanding of SAP database structures and core R3 functionality incorporating excellent analytical, interpretation and communication skills. Some travel to other our client locations globally is required and flexibility in working hours is essential to support the Europe team & businesses.
Responsibilities:
· Provide Technical subject matter expertise within the SAP IT Support team for Asia & Europe through design, development, testing, implementation and support during run & maintain work & project life cycle phases for Improvement initiatives and projects.
· Translate and analyze functional requests into a technical design whilst driving the use of standard SAP development wherever possible.
· Work closely with internal & 3rd party developers, functional consultants and key users, handling multiple pieces of work simultaneously, alongside ad-hoc support queries, managing work effectively and efficiently through the SAP Ticket, Quality Assurance & Project Management processes.
· Deliver developments and configuration on-time, in specification communicating effectively with peers and customers to create maximum value and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills:
? 2+ years of SAP ABAP hands on work experience in SAP ERP 4.7 & ECC6.0 across modules.
? Excellent analysis & good communication skills at all levels of an organization.
? Ability to work with a high degree of independence with strong team working capabilities
? Good experience of working on a highly customized SAP system.
? Configuration experience in SD and/or MM and/or FICO and/or other areas.
? Broad knowledge of SAP functional & business process areas particularly FI-CO, SD and MM.
? Microsoft? Office, Excel, Word & Powerpoint skills
? Fluent in English oral and written
?Experience & Knowledge including some of: Object Oriented programming, Report writing using ALV and ABAP lists, ALE, Sapscripts and smart forms, Dialogue programming, Interfaces, BADIs/BAPIs, User exits/enhancements, BDCs, Workflow, WebDynpro, LSMW, IDOCs, XML.
Preferences:
? Experience in a global manufacturing, consulting industry or International project management experience
? Experience with SAP Netweaver & SAP XI
