Jod Description:

1. Develop and execute Annual Project Plan for Plastic parts supplier base which includes supplier rationalization, productivity, vendor managed inventory, lead time reductions, payment terms, quality and delivery.

2. Build up and maintain supplier panel, define and implement purchasing strategy for assigned commodities, manage supplier selection according to group criteria, ensure the utilization of the panel by program and operation buyers;

3. Develop suppliers to achieve "Best Practice" in cost, quality , service and delivery;

4. Play a leading role in establishing and maintaining contracts and purchasing agreements for the commodities;

5. Manage the monitoring and measuring of supplier performance, responsible for securing continuous improvement in supplier performance;

6. Closely work with Global Business unit and drive Global sourcing for internal customer.

Job Requirement:

1. Bachelor's or above degree in Mechanical / Technology is a must,

2. Minimum 4 years experiences as a commodity Sourcing role; (with tooling or stamping technical or Design experience proffered, Must be able to read engineering drawings)

3. Familiar with instrument or industry preferably, with Medical background;

4. Fluent in both written and oral English;

5. Must be mobile and willing to travel frequently;

6. Team leadership, good interpersonal skills;

7. Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills;

8. A broader understanding of the nature of supply market structures;

9. Detailed knowledge of commercial and contract law;
