职位描述

? Reporting to the General Manager of Sales and Marketing, Greater China, the National Sales Manager will lead all strategic and tactical regional sales programs for Mainland China.
? This position defines, develops and implements regional sales strategies to insure achievement of goals set forth in the PRODUCT China operating and strategic plans.
? Critical to this position's success is an in-depth understanding of the complexity of our markets plus the competition and the challenges of selling through distributors.
? Experience of implementing regional sales strategies, the ability to drive sales effectiveness to ensure the optimum contribution to business results and champion new sales concepts/models will be known competencies in the successful candidate for this position.

Position Responsibilities and Overview
? This is the most senior sales position in PRODUCT's China organization.
? Based in Shanghai, this position manages the Regional Sales Managers, Retail Sales Manager, Specification Sales Manager and their teams, consisting of approximately 100 employees, of which 8 are directs reports.
? Travel is anticipated at 40% to 50%, largely within China. This position manages a multiple million USD turnover.

Position Responsibilities and Overview
? Achieves planned business unit results (sales, operating profit, working capital etc)
? Develops and implements regional sales strategies with regional sales directors and local sales managers to achieve objectives of overall China business plan
? Develops and implements regional retail sales strategies to achieve overall China business plan
? Drives sales effectiveness across division to ensure most effective contribution to business results to include definition (sales methods, costs, results), staffing, development and evaluation/structure of organization
? Develops and leads the integration of new sales concepts such as the Architectural Specialties initiative through the management of the specification team
? Championing new product and customer service requirements within the organisation
? Integrates product portfolio: mineral fiber, metal ceilings, suspension systems
? Establishes measures at local level to help teams monitor and understand key business and market trends
? Communicates and recognizes good ideas/good practice throughout the sales organisation
? Drives the implementation and use of I.T. in sales and ensures sufficient training and resources are available
? Sets up processes to provide information on Chinese trends, market share movement and competitor information
? Implements a China training and personal development plan to ensure the proper development of human resources
? Identifies and develops relationships with key Chinese customers
? Develop and upgrade customers to tap into new market segments in line with strategic plan
? Drives process improvement within the Chinese sales organization

First Year Deliverables
? Your first year major deliverables are the implementation of regional selling plans that are congruent and integral with the longer-term China business strategy and defining and developing sales excellence within PRODUCT China organization.

Other Duties
? Key member of the China leadership team and a vital contributor towards the China business' strategic plan.

Required Qualifications and Skills
? Ideally we are looking for a senior sales professional with 8 to 10 years of experience who has a proven track record of growing profitable businesses through the implementation of aggressive selling strategies.
? This experience should include hands on selling experiences as well as developing and implementing strategic and tactical sales plans.
? Optimally, we are seeking candidates from the building materials industry or large commercial companies. Additionally, we are requiring 5 years of experience managing and developing the skills of a selling staff.
? A University degree or equivalent experience is required; a Masters in Business Administration would be an asset.
? Fluency in English would be ideal.
