l To maximize the profit of UPM Timber generated by the customer base for Sawn Redwood and Whitewood products / Advanced Wood Products in China in line with the UPM Timber strategies
Key Responsibilities:
l ? Responsible for Sawn Redwood and Whitewood / Advanced Wood Products sales to defined customers in China
l ? Manage proactively the defined Sawn Redwood and Whitewood / Advanced Wood accounts in China
l ? Proactively cooperate with the SW / AWP Sales Manager in China to generate ideas for new and existing product and concept development
l ? Seek for potential customers and business opportunities in China to support the profitability growth of the UPM Timber business area
l ? Support the quarterly forecasting processes (RF / QPP) through proactive cooperation with the SW / AWP Sales Manager in China
l ? Proactively monitor the payment performance of the defined customers and actively take measures in cooperation with the credit control function to ensure timely payment of customer invoices
l ? Develop sawn timber industry customers and distributors in China to support the profitability growth of the UPM Timber business area.
l ? Proactively cooperate with the local Sales Manager to develop new agent in China to support the business growth of the UPM Timber business area.
l ? Handle claims properly in line with guidelines with sales team in Finland.
l ? Collect Market information of timber industry in China, and proactively cooperate with the local Sales Manager to draft market strategy of the UPM Timber China.
l ? Promote and improve the awareness of new brand UPM Timber in China.
l ? Organise products training and introduce timber knowledge for key customers, and write science articles to introduce Nordic timber and UPM Timber.
Prerequisites:
l ? College degree or above
l ? Minimum 2-3 working experience in related field
l ? Good command of English, both in spoken and writing
l ? Outgoing, easy-going and straightforward, team-work spirit, high integrity
l ? Knowledge and ability to use normal UPM IT-tools
l ? Committed to work independently in our sales team and to follow given instructions
