Sr. Inspection Engineer
JOB PROFILE

Job description:
l Receive through those work orders deemed to require planning. Interview work initiator, scopes the work, and inspects job location to determine job requirements. Identify the special tools and equipment. Stage materials and special tools as required; develop clear and concise work steps and estimated job duration and craft requirements, develop and maintain a library of job specifications and plans for routine maintenance activities.
l Be responsible for mechanical maintenance task quality inspection, both the task is carried out by internal resources or external resources, site supervision on work quality of rotating and static's equipments in accordance with the specification and Issue maintenance work quality control report regularly
l To support maintenance engineer on implementation of the plant equipment integrity program by providing In-House inspection of items of registered equipment to meet Company Standards such as SHE 706 and legal requirements, inspection report should be issued and documented as records. Coordinate the third part inspection if internal resource is not available
l Assess the condition of equipment, either by visual examination or by using non-destructive testing techniques with data collection and information analysis to improve the reliability and reduce equipment failure.
l Act as a Planner/Coordinator during Major Overhauls and unplanned breakdowns when there is a high level of maintenance activities
l Assist maintenance engineer in equipments and spare parts' localization

Background:
l Solid first floor maintenance experience in a chemical or petrochemical plant.
l Major in Chemical Machinery, university degree is an advantage
l Know well the local legal regulation and requirement in maintenance and asset management discipline, understand international standard if possible
l Knowledge of non-destruction test methods for dynastic and static equipments, such as fans, pumps, and boilers and their associated components such as bearings and actuators
l Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment in the maintenance of the modern chemical plants
l Solid experience on chemical equipment inspection, and maintenance quality control
l English reading capability, and MS office still
l western foreign invested enterprise experience
l Honest and rule complying to make sure the programmer have been fully followed
l Positive and self motivation style
l Face to face communication
l Minimum experience of 5 years maintenance supervisor or top technician or 5 years mechanical engineer in chemical industry or petrochemical industry (batch/continuous process)
