Regional Reliability Engineer – Electrical 地点：青浦

Roles and Responsibilities
? Provides reliability specialist support and technical support for sites electrical system and equipment management including consulting and onsite support, engages and influences regional sites towards adopting global MI electrical process/elements for continuous improvement.
? Provides technical assistance to plant requests for electrical equipment problems in analyzing and resolving reliability issue.
? Assists/Facilitators the sites in performing Root Cause Failure Analysis to reactively identify the root causes and put in place changes to prevent its happened again.
? Performs reliability & availability analysis and suggest improvements.
? Supports electrical system engineering design reviews, evaluations and safety studies.
? Ensures technical integrity of the power generation and distribution systems
? Analyzes cost benefit for competing electrical solutions resulting in robust, cost effective designs
? Prepares various electrical system studies/calculations to support sites operation and project for electrical system/equipment reliability
? Leads electrical hazards analysis and provides hands-on electrical engineering procedures and documents.
? Assists the sites in analysis and optimization of spare parts stocking strategies with the objective of optimizing availability

Technical Skills & Competencies
? Familiar with applicable codes such as NFPA70, 70E, 497, AGA3/9, and XF0277, API RP500, NEMA MG 1-2006, ICS7.1-2006, etc
? In depth knowledge of power generation and distribution system
? In depth knowledge in the use of Reliability Centered Maintenance and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis techniques to analyze electrical system and equipment problems
? In depth knowledge in Root Cause Failure Analysis
? Ability to conduct electrical system load studies, short-circuit analysis, relay coordination, arc flash studies, motor starting system dynamics, harmonics analysis, ground fault analysis, and other calculation such as lighting level, heat trace, voltage drop, conduit fill, etc.
? Ability to conduct engineering studies in medium and low voltage facility power distribution, including substation, service, switchgear, relay protection MCC’s, VFD’s, motor starters, lighting, grounding, hazardous area wiring methods, etc.
? In depth knowledge in preventive and predictive (condition monitoring) concept and techniques such as Motor Circuit Analysis, Infrared Monitoring, and Instrumentation Calibration.
? Knowledge of spare parts stocking strategies and the advantages/disadvantages of various strategies.
? Strong ability to manage and influence change.
? Strong ability in strategic and logical thinking.

Experience
? At least 8+ years experience in heavy duty industry such as Petro-Chemical or mining as electrical engineer resources for operation, reliability, maintenance, or project
? Successful track record in applying a sound knowledge of electrical engineering standards and statutory requirements, and capability to support operations, production, maintenance, and project teams in enhancing asset performance
? Knowledge of engineering reviews, HAZOP, other safety studies and hazardous area classifications
? Experience in RCM, RBI, TPM is an advantage
? Experience of electrical equipment design is a plus

Education
? BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with higher level degree an advantage
Language Needed
? Fluent in English and Mandarin both speaking and writing.
