Role Description:
This role is a functional and/or technical consulting role within our SAP IT team, with responsibilities to establish, coordinate and monitor global SAP Procurement Systems focusing on Asia and Europe. This role will also rely on excellent customer service and organizational skills to manage several tasks simultaneously while still providing the necessary focus on details.
Responsibilities:
? Manage the SAP activities for Asia and Europe relevant to the newly implemented Procurement Systems (SRM, MDM, SUS, SRM-MDM Catalogs, and Classic R3 MM) and Processes.
? Lead or participate in business and capability projects
? Supervise the resolution of support issues and implementation of changes through our external consulting partners.
? Actively participate in the design (and if needed the implementation) of the more complex process / configuration changes in our highly integrated solution landscape.
? Identify new systems opportunities to improve the application of existing and new processes
? Proactively build relationships with internal key customers, share SAP knowledge, and expertise to continuously raise the bar for cost efficiency and solution effectiveness
Required Skills:
? Fluent in English spoken & written
? Strong communication skills in English and flexible approach to liaise and work with colleagues in Europe & North America.
? 2-3 years of SAP experience
? 1-2 years of experience - MUST include Functional and Technical expertise in classic SAP MM and Procurement business processes.
? 1+ years SRM (Supply Relationship Management) and of SAP Catalog Management, SAP SUS (Supply Self Service), and /or SAP MDM (Master Data Management).
? Flexibilty of working hours is essential to support Asia & Europe and interact with North America.
? Some Global travel will be required primarily within Asia and to Europe & North America.
Preferences:
?Project management experience involving 2 or more teams, departments, or locations with the ability to lead diverse and international teams.
? Experience in Netweaver and Java programming.
?Experience communicating complex or technical issues to business leader
?Bachelors Degree (or equivalent)
?Experience in a global manufacturing or consulting industry or International project management experience
