Job Summary:
¨ This is a senior leadership position in company that requires solid business background and leadership skills.
¨ The position reports to VP & Managing Director, Building Materials Asia Pacific who is based in Shanghai, China.
¨ This incumbent is expected to create and deploy a long term growth and short term execution strategy in sales and marketing areas, driven by a thorough understanding of markets, products, customers, and competitors that delivers our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
· To provide the leadership of Sales, marketing, key account and E&C(engineering and construction), to achieve highest possible customer satisfaction and positively impact employee satisfaction.
· To develop and deliver the sales and marketing strategy
· Monitor and analyze sales activity against goals
· Deliver Actionable Gross Margin results, managing sales and marketing SG&A and overall forecast accuracy
· Research and develop the strategies and plans which identify market opportunities, marketing and new project development
· To lead and be accountable for sales and profit growth for all products.
· To develop personal relationship with key contacts at major customers and develop customer partnerships.
· To understand customers' strategies, value chains, major markets served.
· Monitor and evaluates operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement.
· Prepare and develop the team to achieve the business result and embrace the challenge ahead.
· Develop and manage the budget and oversee the development and the management of internal operating budget.
· Other related work assigned by his/her manager and the company from time to time.
Requirement:
· At least 10 years working experience, preferably with a multinational, in the building materials/construction industry;
· Business degree or equivalent;
· Extensive sales and marketing experience in China, with solid sales achievements;
· Proven track record in implementing successful strategic programs to generate sales and develop new businesses;
· Strong leadership, team building/management and motivational skills; ability to work well with others.
· Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment-a creative thinker;
· Good business sense with assertive yet deferential personality; personal integrity and sensitivity to diverse cultures are essential;
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
· Fluency in English, Mandarin; ability to speak other Asian language is a definite asset;
· Be adaptable for business travel frequently
