Materials Manager-工作地点:松江
(世界500强美国机械零配件公司,由于在华的追加投资,故open的新职位;负责3家工厂,直接向Operation Director汇报工作)
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:
Take leadership and direction responsibility for all materials management functions of the plants.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipments in a timely and cost effective way; timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
2.Ensure purchases for required goods or services are made by recommending appropriate supplier/s, costs, processes, etc.
3.Evaluate and analyze supplier proposals, Review and negotiate contracts identifying opportunities and risks.
4.Review contracts and possess knowledge of purchasing contracts and contract terminology
5.Develop and maintain supplier relationships, Seek savings opportunities and track savings.
6.Arrange performance reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations to address issues and exploit opportunities
7.Perform analysis of supplier spend data and process metrics to proactively recommend improvements
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, supply chain or relevant discipline.
2.Min. 5 years purchasing management and supply chain experience
3.Knowledge of sourcing categories and supply markets
4.Knowledge of contract terminology and proven negotiation skills
5.Excellent project management and relationship management skills
6.Knowledge of purchasing principles, have team spirit and can take initiative
7.Excellent language skill in English and Mandarin for both Oral and Writing is a must.
8.Strong knowledge and experience working with ERP, skill in use of Microsoft Office
