Overall Purpose
To execute potential projects in China; to ensure LURGI's system, tools and procedures are applied properly.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
§ Organize, control & manage the total project scope of work assigned. Manage all project management processes/systems for execution of projects strictly within costs and schedules defined.
§ Preparation of the overall project plan & execution strategies, and review with Project Director for approvals.
§ Manage the approved plan to achieve project deliverables & timeline objectives viz. mobilize the team/contractors & coordinate schedules with respect to planning, procurement & execution strategy in line with contract provisions.
§ Recommend and coordinate effective and competitive strategies for sub-contracting and manage relationships with global contracting companies.
§ Provide inputs to Project Director to facilitate communication within the Project Organization, with Partners, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers, and with the Owner.
§ Implement EHS, QA, QS and Risk Management, in accordance with the Owner and the Contract requirements. Ensure quality, safety, progress and cost control and initiate necessary corrective actions as and when required.
§ Promote quality awareness in every sphere of project activity & the organization, manage quality through audits and ensure correction in case of any non-conformance.
§ Ensure relevant budget & delivery plan & provide regular project progress reports & forecast data to the senior management.
§ Anticipate and resolve problems, bottlenecks/scheduling conflicts to achieve on time or earlier deliveries and ensure contracting partners deliver project within the contracted duration & agreed budget.
§ Establish project goals and ensure that these are communicated to, and understood by, all team members as well as in all supporting units.
§ Use people management & network abilities to establish a positive team spirit by inspiring project team members including the matrix organization supporting the project.
§ Implement Training & Development Plan for competency development across the team.
Other ad hoc tasks required by line manager.

Qualifications
§ Education: University degree on Bachelor level in technical field.
§ Training & Certificate: Training courses in its field
§ Working Experience: 10 years of professional experience in Chemical Industry.
§ Foreign Language: English skills in speaking, reading and writing.
§ Knowledge & Know-how:
Ability to communicate with overseas experts.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
§ Others
Ability for domestic- and overseas traveling.
