职位描述
In this position, the individual will be responsible for certain cost accounting related tasks, including but not limited to ECO (material change) processing, reviewing cost data, preparing journal entries and performing analyses. This position needs to follow all policies and documented processes as defined by Cost Accounting management, all guidelines provided by company Document Control and Data Management teams related to Item Master controls
Responsibilities for this position include:
l Process changes required on Engineering Change Orders as it relates to costing activities
l Review Bill of Material structures for inaccurate information; provide feedback to Engineering and work with company Document Control to communicate ongoing issues
l Perform standard cost reconciliation & review cost data load for accurate costing assumptions
l Complete weekly manufacturing variance analyses (due every Tuesday except at month-end) for month-to-date activities
l Root causes of variances need to be determined, communicated and financial impact to be projected
l Complete month-end variance analyses (due by Noon on Day 3 of close week) and book all necessary General Ledger entries in support of the reconciliation area
l Support quarterly cost review and debug activities across current Essbase system and SAP according to defined deadlines
l Analysis of Cost routings as part of the quarterly cost roll process; identification of routing inconsistencies and communication of SAP updates
l Ad-hoc business analyses required as defined by Cost Accounting management
Educational / Other Requirements:
l BS / BA degree, with 5 or more years of experience in a similar role (as defined by the Position Descriptions and Responsibilities listed above)
l Cost Accounting and SAP experience required
l English is mandatory as all business interface is with US Engineering, US Data Management and US Document Control teams
l Strong written and verbal communication skills
l Agile system experience desired
l Hyperion system experience desired
The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively cross-functionally, coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
