Sourcing Engineer/SDE – Casting – 浦东金桥

Report to: Procurement Manager-Asia

RESPONSIBILITIES

？ Set up supplier base, select and optimize the best service supplier purchasing conditions to achieve cost reduction target.

？ Prepares RFQ and collect competitive quotes from multiple suppliers.

？ Implement supplier performance management in terms of quality, delivery, cost, service.

？ Perform sourcing, negotiation, specification and contract review, supplier audit, review of project status and supplier feedback for assigned sourcing project.

？ Assure the necessary project tracking process and completes the required supplier information.

？ Represents Global Sourcing in various meetings or project teams.

？ Follow up and close all open issues regarding development of projects.

？ Vendor Liaison as relates to new product materials and projects.

？ Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

？ Bachelor degree in foundry or machining engineering or quality engineering of pumps;

？ 5 years work experience in casting, machining manufacturing or sourcing activities of Pump company.

？ Familiar and understand the casting, material forming and machining process.

？ Good understanding of TS16949 (including FEMA, SPC and PPAP) standard, ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard and heat treating.

？ Firm grasp of mechanical engineering English – written English critical, oral English preferred.

？ Strong project management skills and problem solving skill on operation execution.

？ Teamwork orientation, good communication skills and with coordinating ability, strong negotiation skills.

？ Highly motivated person with an ability to work independently;
