BU Description IBM CDL(China Development Lab) GPS (Global Process Services) Asset team is part of GPS Asset Lab WW organizations. The objective of GPS Asset Lab is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of building solution content - using common components, standard processes and a common platform. The CDL GPS team was established in Feb, 2006 and have successfully delivered about 20+ solutions for WW customers. GPS testing team also participated actively in engaging,delivering services to global customers in Europe, USA and GCG. Team has delivered testing service for several customers with very good feedback. In GPS testing service team, you will have chance to: - Work on latest technologies and understand new business model - Work on helping clients' success through testing service engagement and delivery - Work in challenge environment to force you learn, study and improve yourself all the time with new testing related technology and soft skills - Have opportunity to travel in Europe and US and cities in China to work on-site supporting IBM Clients. - Practice Agile development process. Job Responsibilities We are now looking for a highly motivated technical talent with rich experience in test engineering area to join us. You will have chances to play to your strength and apply your creative ideas to the world-class solutions. Be responsible for testing, measuring, analyzing and tuning the performance of the customer's most advanced business solutions in various industry areas, products and system platforms. The specific focus will be ensuring that the system being delivered meets the performance and scalability requirements of the project through systematic end-to-end testing, tuning and optimization. Be responsible to ensure the quality of customer's IT infrastructure including all non-functional requirement of their IT infrastructure system from OS to Middle ware. Be responsible to help client assess and improve their testing maturity and build advanced testing center with modern testing technology and platforms. Lead big service deliver team to deliver specific testing projects to clients which maybe FVT/SVT, PVT, OAT and so on. Communicate with IBM Clients on project schedule, issues or other collaboration topics during engagement and delivery Identify business opportunities thru the engagement of clients. Communicate with WW stakeholder/customers to coordinate performance testing, test status reporting and tracking. Job Requirements (skills/experiences) Strong Performance and scalability testing experiences, being able to handle testing on large scale enterprise systems and conduct in-depth performance analysis with the resulting test data. Or Strong Infrastructure testing experiences including HA, Fail-over, Monitoring, Alerting, Backup, Restore and so on. Familiar with virtualization, OS and multiple middleware. Or Strong testing experience in banking or communication industry in test planning, designing, execution controlling, analysis and so on, familiar with testing process, development process test management related tools and platforms. Storing ability to work closely with the development and test teams to review designs for performance, identify performance bottlenecks, analyze and propose solutions to resolve composite performance issues, and develop approaches to validate problem resolutions. Strong skills in using any of the load testing tools (IBM Rational Performance Tester, HP Loadrunner) will be a plus. Strong experiences in system monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Strong problem analysis and resolution skills Good cross-team communication skill and ability to drive to close Good communication skills in both mandarin and English Good team player, self-motivated, quick learner Experience with agile development is a plus Familiar with IBM middleware is a strong plus
