Job Summary
Responsible to provide Quality auditing and Quality improvement expertise for ECI within the scope of release Supplier, which includes developing existing and releasing new suppliers across a global supply chain by leading them in the implementation of quality programs, to meet and exceed ECI Quality expectations. This position drives continuous improvement of business processes through ongoing measurement and evaluation of supplier performances. Follow up on supplier action plans to ensure compliance of Suppliers to the expected targets.

Duties and Requirements of the Job:
Support the Commodity Directors in the evaluation of potential new suppliers by assessing the Quality processes and procedures.
Leads Suppliers Quality Audits to certify actual supplier performances and new supplier’s releases.
In case of non-compliances on the Audits engage the suppliers with improvements plans and follow up on execution to ensure supplier performances gets to the desired level.
This position drives continuous improvement of Quality processes between ECI and suppliers and also within suppliers’ internal operations through ongoing measurement and evaluation.
Reviews all supplier business activities in terms of value delivery streams and focuses on process optimization.
Assist Quality Suppliers Engineer at the ECI plant for serious Quality issues with suppliers to support and validate suppliers 8D preparation and follow up.
Monitor supplier Quality performances and based on trends intervenes with the supplier to anticipate potential Quality issues.
Champions the suppliers to improve their Quality performances with dedicated programs.
Drives Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) improvements

Skills Required to Perform the Duties of the Job:
Minimum of 3 years of Supplier Quality related experience with a heavy project management focus
Knowledgeble of Quality Standards such as ISO TS16949, ISO 9000, VDA 6.4, ISO 14000
Good technical skills in reading blu prints and understanding technical specifications.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to influence without power.
Strong Analytical and Problem Technical Skills.
Experience working with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales and Operations.
Strong Multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work effectively from the shop floor to executive staff level.
Professional oral & written communication and presentation skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Good proficiency in English written and oral.

Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:
Minimum Bachelors Degree Engineering or other technical program.
Lead Auditor certification for ISO TS 16949, ISO 9000 and VDA 6.4
Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
Lean Manufacturing certification preferred.

Physical Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job:
None / Able to travel 40%+, including internationally, as required
