Supplier Development
- Collaborate with Commodity Team in the supplier selection process to plan for audit activities.
- Recommend supplier selection, development and de-selection strategies based on supplier performance.
- Collaborate with Global Supplier Development Team to establish supplier performance goals and cascade the expectations to the relevant sites.
- Identify existing suppliers with performance issues, establish and execute improvement plans.
- Publish metrics and feedbacks on suppliers’ performances for Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Establish customized action plans to develop targeted suppliers to meet Jabil’s requirements.
- Conduct quality tools training to suppliers under development.
- Support suppliers on quality systems development.

People Development
- Manage team of Regional Supplier Quality Engineers (RSQE) throughout Asia Pacific.
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure that SQEs and RSQEs are equipped with the required skill sets to develop suppliers.

Toolsets
- Drive metrics improvements via internally developed toolsets.
- Feedback and recommend improvements to Audit, Assessment, SPS and other toolsets.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably mechanical (Candidates who possess the equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
- Proficient skills in various software applications including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent command of the English and Chinese (written and verbal).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Certified Lead auditor for at least ISO 9001.
- Trained and possess hands-on experience with tools including FMEA, MSA, SPC, etc.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Travel Requirements
- Periodic travel to customers, suppliers and/or Jabil sites is required – up to 50%.
- Must be willing to travel internationally.

Communication/Language Skills
- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.


Mathematical Skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
