Sales Finance Manager-TP Controller
Summary:
The position takes a key role in Sales Finance and sales customer marketing team to proactively provide high quality trade promotion spending strategy development, control system setup and optimization, spending efficiency and effectiveness analysis and guidance development, and TP operation tracking system setup and claim process follow up.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
Trade Promotion Strategy Development, spending guidance and control system build up
1. Actively participate in China Trade Promotion long term and short term strategy development.
2. Provide Trade Spending high level analysis, includes but not limited on: by brand by channel by spending type trend analysis.
3. Provide financial leadership on TP spending guidance development to make sure to delivere company TP control strategic plan objectives.
4. Work closely with Sales and Control team to develop/optimize TP spending controlling and claim guidance.
5. Work with field sales to deploy TP spending related guidance and policy...
Trade Promotion Effectiveness and Efficiency Financial Analysis
1. Deeply understand Trade Promotion operations details by spending type in field.
2. Build up effective TP budget control and tracking system.
3. Review and approve trade promotion claim application in budget control and finance point of view.
4. Provide financial leadership on TP spending financial analysis.
5. Cooperate with regional finance analysis director to develop/optimize TP analsyis model and deploy TP analysis model in China.
Provide TP financial analysis training to field sales on TP financial analsyis model.
Trade Promotion Accruals, Tracking and Claim Follow Up
6. Deeply involve TP tools system development and optimization to build up an effective TP reporting and tracking system, including the month-end accrual process.
7. Continuously develop/optimize the communication with customers on TP claim procedure and status..
8. Cooperate with GSS to align and make sure GSS to deliver the service agreement.
9. Other ad hoc project and tasks.

Knowledge, skills and abilities
1. Knowledge/ability to work within computerized accounting systems (SAP) and foreign accounting software.
2. Knowledge of general accounting, tax and internal control principles
3. Knowledge of FMCG sales model, such as NKA operation, distribution coverage model and DSR management system.
4. Knowledge and experience of financial analysis skills.
5. Ability to meet deadlines; work under pressure and product accurate results
6. Good communication skills
7. Personal computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
8. Good at oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English

1. With team-work, can-do attitude, ability to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure and product accurate results
2. Excellent financial skills; problem solving, sales & marketing execution and presentation ability, capable to think and act innovatively, proactively and independently with minimal supervision or guidance.
3. Effective oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Education, Experience, soft skill
1. This position requires at minimum a university degree.
2. Minimum 5 years working experiences with relevant Finance / Accounting function in a sizable organization is required, and with solid achievement / performance in the capacity of key accounting / financial positions. Knowledgeable in relevant China legal, Forex control, Tax regulations and practices, plus financial systems development Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed for to develop high trust and collaboration with other parties. Strong problem solving, execution, analytical and presentation skills; and the ability to think and act strategically and independently.
3. Team work skill, able to meet tight deadline, High sense of responsibility and willing to learn.
