Summary:

The Senior Supply Planner is responsible to establish operation plans and objectives to support AEMEA region Business. This position will drive supply chain process improvement by working closely with Demand Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Hershey/Lotte JV (LSFC) manufacturing site, and US planning team. He/she will ensure that accurate information is maintained in the supply planning system timely and all processes and SOPs are documented. The Senior Supply Planner is also responsible tro manage and control inventories, monitor safety stock levels and raise potential case fill concerns. This position is essential to the achievement of key corporate sales and operational objectives.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a master production schedule on a weekly basis to ensure on time availability of products to fill customer orders and on time shipments. Make sure the weekly production schedule is constrained by line capacity. Review the daily schedule provided by LSFC (China JV) production planning to ensure on time availability of products.
• Prepare daily inventory report to monitor safety stock levels and raise potential case fill concerns. Prepare weekly aging report and provide alert on items that have reached a critical ship date. Monthly track KPIs of supply chain metrics (i.e. case fill, DDDs, inventory turns, and total inventory). Tracking LSFC (China JV) scheduling adherence and analyze root causes.
• Manugistics system setup: Set up and maintain all Manugistics settings for new and existing items and make necessary modifications to achieve desired business results. Keep the setting documented.
• Develop systematic documentation for Supply Chain Processes and Principles in the AEMEA region. Maintain the critical information in the document such as planning standards, changeover metrix, critical ship date, inventory target etc.
• Monitor PCM projects related to the sourcing loacations as LSFC (China JV). Work with Project Manager, Production Planner, Demand Planner, and Procurement to ensure the projects are on-track and follow the proper process.

Requirements:

• BS or equivalent major in logistics, finance, science, engineering or related field.
• 4 years of supply planning working experience. SAP user experience is a plus.
• Good at computer, strong skills with PCs, Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Logical thinking, Strong analytical skill and problem solving skills
• Basic knowledge of SAP and Manugistics (or similar ERP systems)
• Good communication skill, ability to understand and explain mathematical concepts
• Good follow-up skills, gets things done.
• Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
• Good time management skills.
• Fluent in English (both oral & written). Mandarin is a must
• Willingness to learn and search for creative solutions
• Understanding of factory organization and functions
