Main responsibility
* Analyze the developments/quotations, make sure all is clear.
* Suggest alternatives and work proactively in order to reach best price, quality &
lead-time. Work together with PD, R&D and technicians
* Send the development/quotation to best suitable suppliers (according to capacity
strategy set by PM team)
* Use price history list, planned production units, capacity plan as tools when
distributing quotations to H&M suppliers
* Get back the quotation from the suppliers and analyze the price according to our
price method, quality and lead-time. Send best package to buyer.
* Give feedback to supplier regarding price and possible requests for
improvements.
* Follow up deadlines for developments/quotations as per preorder method.
* If an order is confirmed check that all details are correct and correspond to what has
been agreed.
* In case all details are clear transfer order to Production Merchandiser for follow up.
* Strengthen cooperation with R&D team, Production Merchandiser team and Technicians in order to secure best garments for bulk production.
* Make risk assessment together with R&D and Lab in preorder stage.
* Share knowledge/problems with rest of the teams to improve and learn by our mistakes.
* Create a good dialogue with buyers in Sweden.
* Good knowledge of H&M suppliers' concerning price, quality, capacity & lead-times.


Main Requirement
* Bachelor degree, major in Textile Engineer, Industrial Engineer, BA/Economy Degree is preferred.
* Knowledge and experience in Underwear production, preferably experience from similar position
in supplier or representative office.
* Good command of written and oral English
* Good communication skill
* Business minded and interest in fashion
