General Summary

The MarCom Specialist is responsible for building and promoting the company brand, generating and maintaining market awareness, and accelerating the sales cycle via marketing communications in the areas of advertising, PR, trade shows, printed collateral, and internet-based communications. This position acts as interface between product and channel marketing, field sales and outside agencies to effectively deliver product promotion in the support of key marketing objectives.

Job Duties (Tasks, Responsibilities, etc.):

Marketing Communications:

1. Responsible for preparing all promotional and branding materials, ads, PR releases, customer newsletters etc for communication purposes. Also involve working with the product managers to ensure that technical/product content is written clearly, concisely, and updated on a regular basis.
2. Coordinate and support the important business events, onsite support major exhibitions, meetings/conferences, including receiving company visitors. Do the follow up work after the events, like name cards collection and event reports.
3. Work with related functions to establish/manage/maintain company website, online and social media promotions to enhance both external and internal communications.
4. Manage the stock/order of promotional items and follow up the payments for vendors.
5. Provide written and verbal translation as required, manage documentations and archives.

Marketing Analysis:

6. Make China Sales Monthly Report upon the existing format and process.
7. Conduct Quarterly Customs Data Analysis-Europe & USA based on existing tool and process as required.
8. Collect products/competitors/customers information through major events e.g. exhibitions and conferences etc.
9. Collect other market information as required.

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:

1. Good written and spoken English.

2. Excellent interpersonal skills

3. Energetic team player and proactive attitude

4. Good at coordination, execution and multiple-task management. Organized. Detailed.

5. Strong working knowledge of MS software application

6. Good analysis skills and market understanding

Education Requirements:

(Degree and or additional relevant training):

1. Bachelor Degree in business related field (Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications preferred)

Experience Requirements:

1. 1-3 years'experience in marketing, PR, advertising or media organizations.
