JOB OBJECTIVE

Support product development in Asia to make sure sample is well executed in terms of aesthetics, quality and timing. To improve communication with vendor, expedite sampling process, improve lead time and sample accuracy. Working across departments to identify issue at sample stage and provide solution as a team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

? Ensure appropriate communication among various corporate team, AFE team and factory.
? To liaise with Corporate Product Development team to make sure all sample detail well executed.
? Be able to make correction on silhouette, choose material, has good understanding on footwear technical knowledge.
? Be able to reduce production risk while maintaining product integrity.
? Has costing knowledge to build the product according to the target.
? Improve sample lead time, make sure sample is approved in timely manner.
? Has good understanding on various material supplier and the market, be able to provide new on trend information at beginning of the season.
? Communicate with Montreal team on new ideas, new material swatches, design or other factory’s in house development.

Key requirement:
? Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related field.
? 4~5 years in shoe factory or footwear trading company product development area, pricing or production management.
? Have sense of fashion and knowing footwear production process,
? Strong problem solving skill.
? Team player and could work under fast-paced environment
? Multi-tasking.
? Good sense of art, color, silhouette.
? Basic computer skill on Office application and Email.
? Speak both Mandarin and English fluently, additional language is plus.
? Ability to travel independently in China and other Asian country.
