Job Title: Technical Manager
Report to: Director of Technical Engineering
Direct report: Commercialization Technician



Responsibilities:

· Manage the process of attaining prototype fit and constructional integrity and to ensure that the commercialization process is followed in time to meet critical deadlines.
· Guide Designers, Product Developers and USA technical staff and ensure that correct technical process and due diligence is applied to post-prototype development.
· Ensure technical specification is monitored and controlled as well as correctly handed over to the factory technical staff.
· Ensure brand commercialization technician follows up commercialization according to deadlines.



Requirements:

· College graduate or above, major in technical or engineering about shoes is preferred.
· A minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role within a trading or branding company.
· In depth knowledge of last development / grading / production essential.
· Proven problem solving skills and able to demonstrate excellent all round technical knowledge in footwear.
· Excellent levels of spoken and written English essential.
· Ability to communicate on multi-levels with managers / directors and USA design staff.
